Our mowing service is oriented around professional quality and detail.
Our mowing routine includes a professionally striped cut, trimming around trees, fences, gardens, curb, and sidewalk edges as needed, and a thorough clean up and blow-off of the driveway, sidewalks, and ground level porches. This is in some ways the foundation of all our services that we offer in order to keep your lawn and property in prime cosmetic condition.
- Trimming -
Our trimming service focuses on detail.
We make sure to trim around all trees, fences, gardens, curbs, and sidewalk edges. We prioritize trimming at the same height that the grass is cut in order blend evenly with the surrounding area. This service is also included in our mowing routine. We also offer rough cut area trimming for places such as steep banks or overgrown lots.
- edging -
Edging provides clean and sharp grass lines along sidewalk and curb edges.
This is really one of those services that allows us to take a property's aesthetics to the next level. We pride ourselves in the ability to turn a location around, and this is one of the keys in doing so. We make sure to clean up and remove any excess grass and dirt, and finish up with a thorough blow off of all surfaces.
- blowing -
After every job, whether edging, trimming, mowing, leaf removal, shrub trimming, or even fertilizing, we always finish up by blowing off all sidewalks, driveways, and ground patios. We make sure to blow out every corner and surface in order to remove any straggling grass clippings or leaves and leave with a "spotless" job site.
- leaf removal -
Leaf removal doesn't have to be a pain.
Our leaf removal service will collect all your leaves, including those that have collected in any garden beds or shrubs. We use our mowers to bag the grass clippings and leaves, and we include off-site removal of the collected debris. Your lawn will be left looking like there weren't any leaves in the first place!
- Aeration -
Aeration provides more nutrients and water to the root zone of the grass.
It's a great natural way to boost your lawn's health, as it aids natural nutrient delivery and also reduces soil compaction. If you have an irrigation system we will mark the rotors and valve boxes for you (or you can do it yourself, if you prefer) so we don't damage your irrigation system. We always make sure to leave everything clean and blown off!
- Dethatching -
One of the owner's most highly recommended services!
Dethatching is one of the best ways to naturally keep your lawn healthy. A lot of people believe that all their thatch comes from mowing, and some of it does; however, grass is always regenerating and because of this there is always "thatch" in lawns. Removing the old thatch allows for more water to penetrate to the root zone as well as allowing the grass to thicken. It also makes the lawn look very sharp and clean. We use a spring tooth thatcher to loosen the thatch base, then we bag and remove the thatch from the lawn. As usual we will blow off the job site and keep it nice clean.
- shrub trimming -
Shrub Trimming is a professional service, and our team will treat it as such.
Our shrub trimming service will provide you with clean-cut shrubs and an overall much tidier look to your property. We will also clean up all the clippings from the lawn and gardens and dispose of them off site. Once again, we'll finish up with a thorough blow-off of pavement and ground patios (see "Blowing").
- Fertilizing and Weed control -
Weed free, lush and beautiful.
Gold Package-
The GOLD package includes a high grade GRANULAR fertilizer and LIQUID weed control. The granular fertilizer allows us to regulate the speed of the release more accurately than liquid and is also more environmentally friendly. The liquid weed killer on the other side allows us to apply state-of-the-art weed control methods. We custom tailor the number of applications and timing of the applications to your lawn. We also include an application of lime with this package as well as aerating. We take care to make sure your pets are indoors and that toys are off the lawn, as well as blow the prills off of your paved surfaces.
Silver Package-
Our SILVER package is a basic package and will keep your lawn in good health. We will use the same granular fertilizer and liquid weed control as our Gold package but it does not include lime or aerating
Applications- Typically 4 to 6 weeks apart
Application #1- high grade granular fertilizer with pre-emergent crab grass control applied in the Spring
Application #2- high grade granular fertilizer with post-emergent broadleaf weed control. Controls dandelions, creeping charlie, clover, plantain, and more.
Application #3- high grade granular fertilizer with post-emergent broadleaf weed control. Controls dandelions, creeping charlie, clover, plantain, and more.
Application #4- high grade granular fertilizer with post-emergent broadleaf weed control. Controls dandelions, creeping charlie, clover, plantain, and more.
Application #5- high grade granular winterizing fertilizer.
- Tree Removal -
We can handle all your basic tree care needs.
Whether you need a few branches trimmed or a full removal, we can take care of your tree needs. Because we care about lawns we will take care not to damage your lawn; or if we have to bring in equipment that may cause damage, we have the ability to fully restore it. If we remove a tree for you we won't leave a pile of stump grindings and a hole for you to worry about; instead, we'll haul out the debris (all of it), fill the hole with black dirt, and re-seed. (limited availability by area)
